Today, I wanted to do something different. I usually like to share my stories and life experiences with you guys. Don’t worry, I will continue to do that. However, for today, I just want to share the word of God with you. I want to share with you verses that show you what God says about patience and understanding in the hopes that they help you just as much as they have helped me.

“Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.” – Romans 12:12

“Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.” – Colossians 3:12

“Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.” – Jeremiah 33:3

“For the Lord gives wisdom; From His mouth comes knowledge and understanding” – Proverbs 2:6

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths. Do not be wise in your own eyes…” – Proverbs 3:5-7

“You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.” – Hebrews 10:36

“The Lord is good to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him; it is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord.” – Lamentations 3:25-26

“Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; do not fret when people succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes.”- Psalm 37:7

“Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.” – Ephesians 4:2

“Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out!” – Romans 11:33

“Happy is the man who finds wisdom, and the man who gains understanding.” – Proverbs 3:13

“And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding, that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.” – 1 John 5:20

“But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.” – 1 Corinthians 2:10

All these verses give us insight into God’s patience and understanding. Granted these are only just a few that I have listed here. If you want to learn more, then I encourage you to go into the word yourselves. By reading the Bible we not only gain understanding, but more importantly, we get to know who God is. It’s all right there in black and white. Take the time to get to know God and see the many blessings He will give you.
