He Provides

Before I begin, I want to take some time to thank everyone for their love and support. It has been a blessing to write for this blog and to be given the opportunity to spread God’s love. I know there have been times I have fallen behind (especially with the Youtube channel), but you have all been kind and understanding. I know that God has blessed me tremendously through this blog.

In these past six months of writing, I’ve learned a lot. I’ve learned to be patient, vulnerable, quiet, and appreciative. One of the biggest things revealed to me lately is that I lack nothing in life. God has provided me with what I need and has even given me things that I want. This is all because of His love for us.

“And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” – Philippians 4:19

At times we may feel that we don’t have everything we need and that could be attributed to two things. First, you are mistaking the things you need with the things you want. As an example, you NEED to pay your bills vs you WANT a new phone. By mixing our needs with our wants, we become ungrateful when our wants are not met. The second reason is we have our priorities in the wrong places. By placing a higher priority on the things we want, we find ourselves more and more empty. For example, someone who strives to make the most money. When they set a goal of what they want to reach, once they reach that goal, the feel like they need more in order to satisfy that emptiness. Know the difference between your wants and your needs.

In the past, I have mentioned how we have no reason to worry because God will provide. Well, something that I failed to explain was that God does not only provide you with what you need financially but also what you need spiritually and mentally. Every aspect of your life is important to God and He wants to help you through any and every storm.

“Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.” – Isaiah 41:10

God provides you with anything and everything you need. All you need to do is pray with a sincere heart and He will hear you. If you need help financially…pray. If you need strength…pray. If you need wisdom…pray. If you need guidance…pray. If you need peace and rest…pray. If you need healing…pray. He is faithful to provide. If you don’t hear from Him right away, keep praying. Don’t lose faith.

“Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.” – Deuteronomy 31:6

God loves us so much that He even provides things that we want as well. I remember a long time ago when my parents were shopping for a new washer and dryer, I saw one pair of washer and dryer that I really liked. I remember thinking that one day I would like to have those in my own home. When my husband and I were going to buy our first home, we realized that our home did not come with a washer or dryer. As a gift, my in-laws bought us both the washer and dryer. Mind you, I had not told my mother-in-law which ones I had wanted. I just trusted her judgment and was thankful that she wanted to give us this gift. God used my in-laws to gift me the washer and dryer that I had always wanted.

“The eyes of all look expectantly to You, And You give them their food in due season. You open Your hand and satisfy the desire of every living thing.” – Psalm 145:15-16

Jesus loves you. I say that a lot, but it is true. He loves you so much. In that love, He even gave His life so that we may be saved. If He was willing to give His own life for us, how can we think that He won’t provide for our every need? When we put our faith in God anything and everything we need will be given to us. We just need to seek Him wholeheartedly and you will see how He takes care of you.

“The young lions lack and suffer hunger; But those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing.” – Psalm 34:10
