God is Amazing

Hey everyone. I’m back! For those of you who don’t know, I just came back from a family trip to Tennessee. I can honestly say that it was an amazing trip. My family and I took advantage of as many of the state parks as we could while we were there. Being from Florida, you don’t get to see many hills or any elevation change. It’s very flat. So, it was refreshing to see all the mountains and cliffs that Tennessee had to offer.

While we were there, we also got to see a lot of waterfalls. Tennessee is filled with them. Being able to see them left us all awestruck. It was amazing to see God’s creation and how mighty He truly is. One of the first places we went to is called Ozone Falls. If you are ever in the area, I definitely recommend going there. While we were there, I couldn’t help but think about everything that has happened to us these past few years. I thought of all the good and all the bad. I thought of everything that led to that one moment when I was looking up at this beautiful waterfall.

All the bad things that have happened to us seemed so small and so far away. It all seemed so insignificant compared to the beauty of God. I was looking at one of the most beautiful sights I had ever seen and I could only think of how this wasn’t even a sample of what awaits us in Heaven. God has gotten me through so many things and I know that as long as I keep my faith in Him, He will continue to be by my side.

“That you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy; giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light.” – Colossians 1:10-12

I know that some people believe that all of this – the earth, humanity, space- was all made by random chance. However, for me, looking into the beauty that God created, I can’t see how any of this was random. He created everything we see and everything we see was created for a purpose…including you.

“For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist.” – Colossians 1:16-17

We need to come back to God. Humanity is slipping away from Him and as time goes by, things only seem to get worse. We need God, desperately. I don’t say this just for those out there who don’t know Him, but I say this to myself as well. We ALL need Him. I was reminded of that on my trip. I was also reminded of God’s glory and power. If our God can create such magnificent things, how could He not get us through all our troubles? Lean on Him and He will guide you through. We need to walk in Him.

“As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving.” – Colossians 2:6-7

That trip was awesome lol and it truly was eye-opening. The word says his creation proclaims his name and his existence, and it really did while we were there 🙏🏻
